Hold Funeral Late Aime Gauvin St. Koseph, N.B. March 18 (Special) -
The funeral of the late Aime Gauvin of Memramcook, took place recently at Scoudouc where he formerly lived, in the presence of a large congregation of friends and relatives. He died after an illness of only a few days at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his wife (nee Osithe Melanson), five daughters, Mrs. Alfred Leger, Mrs. Dominique Landry and Mrs. Alfred Sonier, all of Memramcook; Mrs. Henri Bourque of Scoudouc, and Mrs. Thaddee LeBlanc, of Saint John; also three sons, Christopher, Jean and Rev. Brother Normand, C.S.C., St. Joseph, Professor at St. Joseph University. The pallbearers were Messrs. Christopher and Jean Gauvin, Dominique Landry, Fred Leger, Henri Bourque and Fred Sonier. many mass cards, messages of sympathy, spiritual bouquets were received, marking the high esteem in which the deceased was held.
