Jason Gallant -
Jason Gallant, 34, of Trois-Ruisseaux, passed away accidentally on Monday, August 18, 2008. Born in Moncton, NB on July 15th, 1974, he was the beloved son of Moril and Jocelyne (Leger) Gallant; loving brother of Renelle (Sam LeBlanc) of Trois-Ruisseaux; godfather and uncle to Anabelle Gallant and godfather to Randy Richard; nephew to many aunts, uncles. Jason lived most of his life in Trois-Ruisseaux, NB, although he spent 6 years in Edmonton, Alberta working on oil rigs. Being back close to his family for the past year and a half, he was presently working for one of his closest friend Mario Bourque (First Choice Seamless Gutters). He was a fan of The Edmonton Oilers prior to his journey. After spending several years in Alberta, he was proud and even more confident to wear the capital city's national hockey team jersey. Jason was known for his big heart, dimpled smile and curly hair. Although he will be sadly missed, he will never be forgotten. Resting at Funrarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé (577-3297). The funeral mass will be held at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, Thursday, August 21 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Thursday from 9 until departure (10:20).
