Donald J. Cormier 1937 - 2008 -
Donald Cormier passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on November 29, 2008. Born in Cocagne, son of Rose Marie (Cormier) and the late Louis Cormier. Donald was retired from J. Louis Levesque Arena and he was a volunteer for Moncton Headstart for 17 years. Besides his mother Rose Marie, Donald will be sadly missed by his loving wife Dorice (Leger) of 52 years, one daughter, Denise (Robbie) Arseneau of Moncton, three sons; Marcel of ON, Gilles of Moncton and Paul (Gina) of Washington DC, 12 grandchildren; Nathalie, Janice, Joey, Ronnie, Bobbie, Ashley, Krystyl, Jarrett, Johnie, Marcel Jr., Kimberley and Katherine as well as five great grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers, Aldérice (Cathy), Laurie (Valida), Roméo (Florida), four sisters, Huberte Richard, Florence (Edmond) Fougère, Claudette Cormier and Muriel (Emile) Allain and several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Memorial service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008 at 11:00 am followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Remembrances in Donald's memory may be made to the The Kidney Foundation of Canada or The Moncton Headstart.
