Mrs. E. Leger Shediac (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Catherine Leger, wife of Mrs. Edward Leger of 1282 Main Street, Shediac, occurred Monday morning at the Moncton Hospital. She was 52. Born at Upper Aboujagane, She was a daughter of the late Tilmon and Emilienne (Arsenault) Boudreau. She was employed with Ahistrom of Canada Limited, Scoudouc for the past five years, and was a member of the catholic Women's League. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Pauline Boudreau of Halifax, Mrs. Michael Poirier (Judy) of Shediac Bridge, Gisele and Antoinette, both at home; two sons, Ernest and Roger Leger, both at home; four sisters, Mrs. Marie-Anna Vienneau of Upper Aboujagane, Mrs. Hedard Leger (Ozelie) of Shediac, Mrs. George Bourque (Adrienne) of Dieppe and Mrs. Leo Cormier (Augusta) of Barachois; a brother, Alyre Boudreau of Robichaud, and two grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Celestina Fougere of Saint John, died last year. A brother, Leonce Boudreau, died in 1974. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Shediac. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Shediac, with interment in the parish cemetery.
