Death Occurs in Hotel Dieu Leger Brook (Special) -
Mrs. Ignace Bourque of Leger Brook died early Friday morning in Hotel Dieu in Moncton after a short illness. Born in Cape Bald, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Laurent Cormier. Mrs. Bourque spent her entire life-time in the Cape Bald area. She is survived by her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Phillip Leger (Emilenne) of Fitchburg, Mass., Mrs. Clarence Donnelle (Dina) of Galt, Ont., Rev. Sister Mary Clotilde of Notre Dame d' Acadie College in Moncton (Regina), Rosey of Port Elgin, Mrs. Tilmon Thibodeau (Emma) of Lynn, Mass., an adopted daughter; three sons, Amedee and Leo of Fitchburg, Mass. and Gerald of Leger Brook; two brothers, Mathias Cormier of Lynn and Louis of Saint John. Twenty-seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survive. The body was taken from the Richard funeral home in Shediac to the home of her son, Gerald, in Leger Brook, and will remain there until the funeral, which will be held Sunday afternoon at three o'clock in Cape Bald. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in Cape Bald.
