SAINTE-MARIE DE KENT, NB - Bernard Léger, 46, of Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2001, after a sudden illness.
Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB on March 22, 1954, he was the son of Irènée Léger and Lina (Nowlan) Léger. He was a mill worker at Saint-Antoine Latting Mill for several years and attended Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. He was a member of the Bouctouche Gun Club, and he loved fishing and hunting.
Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Bernadette Melanson (Jean-Paul) of Notre-Dame de Kent, Lucille LeBlanc (Guy) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Stella Ronan (James Eddie) of Dartmouth, NS; brother, Raymond (Gisèle) of Sainte-Marie de Kent; five nephews, 2 nieces, and 1 grand nephew.
Resting at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Sainte-Marie de Kent, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent, on Tuesday, January 30, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. Interment In the Parish Cemetery.
