LÉGER, ANTOINETTE (1941-2009) -
It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Antoinette Leger, 68, of Moncton, who passed away peacefully at home Thursday, July 2nd, 2009. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. Leger of La Montagne (Memramcook) and the late Jeanne Belliveau of Belliveau Village. She is survived by five brothers; Paul (Lorraine) Rawdon Québec, Camille (Imelda) Moncton, Henri (late Armande) Chateauguay, Québec, Victor (late Yvonne) Dieppe, Antoine (Jeanine) Moncton; seven sisters: Yvonne (late Albert), Géraldine, Thérèse Green (late Hugh), Catherine, Jacqueline Manuel (Eric), Annette St-Coeur (late Alphé), Pauline Lannigan (late Thomas) all from Moncton. Also, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers and two sisters; Pierre 1932 (baby), Raymond 1988 (Bernice), Rita 2000 (late Éric), Marie-Jeanne, 2002 (Gérald). Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday, July 3rd, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday, from 10:00 am until departure (10:45). Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Moncton at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Georges L. Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to the donor's choice will be appreciated.
