ROBICHAUD (Specia]) —
Leandre Leger, 83, of Robichaud, died Friday at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a brief illness. Born in Barachois, he was the son of the late Arthure Leger. He was a retired CNR carman with more than 35 years service and attended St. Henri du Barachois Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife. the former Maria Girouard; two daughters, Odette and Mrs Yvon Guy Lelanc (Bernice), both of Robichaud; two sons, Leo and Jean Paul, both of Robichaud; two sister, Mrs. Imelda Doyle of Shediac, and Mrs. Lucilda Bourque of Barachois; two step-sisters, Mrs. Victor LaForest (Jeanita) cf Moncton, and Mrs. Weaver Hennessey (Jeannine) of Newcasle; a brother Alcide 0f Moncton; step-brother Leo Paul Leger of Moncton; 14 gandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was predeeeased by a bother, Ulric; and three sisters, Maria LeBlanc, Sara Landry and Alma Melanson.
The body is at Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac. The funeral mass will be celebrate Monday 11 a.m. St. Henri du Barachois Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
