Flora Richard Léger 1942-2007 - SAINTE-ANNE DE KENT, NB -
Flora Richard Léger, wife of Roger Léger, passed away after a brief illness at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB, on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the age of 65. Daughter of the late Willie LeBlanc and the late Emilienne Allain, Flora was born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on January 11, 1942. Flora worked as a cook and waitress at the Bay de Bouctouche Restaurant and attended the Saint-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church. Besides her husband, Roger Léger, Flora is survived by daughter, Monique Jaillet (Denis) of Sainte-Anne de Kent; two sons, Bruno (Theresa) of Halifax and Réjean (Wendy) of Dieppe; half-brother, Odilon Richard (Germaine) of Cap-Lumière; five grandchildren, Diane, Chantal, Beth Anne, Vanessa, Rickey and one great grandchild, Robbie. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Flora was predeceased by a daughter, Diane and her first husband, Roger. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd. in Bouctouche. The funeral service will be held from the Sainte-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, also in Bouctouche, on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2007 at 11am. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 7-9pm and Tuesday from 9-10:45 am. Interment will be in Sainte-Anne de Kent Parish Cemetery in the spring.
