Murray John Rogers 1928 - 2007 INTERVALE, NB - The death of Murray John Rogers of The Country Care Home, Intervale, NB occurred at the Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Murray lived most of his life in St. John, NB where he worked briefly as a labourer, and then began working as a taxi driver for Vet's Taxi until his retirement, and then moved to Hampton, NB. Born in Sussex, NB, he was the son of the late John D. and Agnes Belle (Harrison) Rogers of Dobson's Corner, NB. He is survived by his former wife, Meryl Caetano; daughters, Lynn, Barbara, Wendy, all residing in Ontario. Survived by sisters, Dorothy Leger and Winnie Plume of Havelock. Predeceased by a daughter Kimberly; brothers, George, Emmerson, Robert; and sisters, Mary (Worden), Gloria (Fletcher). Also survived by his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. As per his wishes, no viewing or service will be held. Cremation will take place, with interment at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, St. John, NB.
