Mrs. G. LeBlanc -
The death of Mrs. Melanie LeBlanc wife of George LeBlanc, of Upper Aboujagne, occurred at Moncton Hospital on Saturday. She was 69. Born at Upper Aboujagne, she was a daughter of the late Theophile and Eugenie (Bourgeois) Leger. Besides her husband, she is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Dalloi LeBlanc (Stella) of Upper Aboujagne, Mrs. Clovis LeBlanc (Anzelle), Mrs. Willie LeBLanc (Maria), Mrs. William Saulnier (Eva), all of Memramcook West, Mrs. Gilbert Leger of Dieppe and Mrs. Edmond Dulon (Amelia) of Rockville, Conn.; one son, Yvon of Moncton; four sisters, Mrs. Romual Melanson of Upper Aboujagne, Mrs. Judi Boudreau of Shediac, Mrs. Dick Despres of Bristol, Conn. and Mrs. Corinne Dube of Florida; two brothers, Willie of Upper Aboujagne and George of Bristol; 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home in Shediac. Funeral mass will be celebrated today at 11 a.m. at the Upper Aboujagne Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will be in the Upper Aboujagne cemetery vault, to await burial in the spring.
