W. B. Gould -
The death of William B. Gould of 68 Robinson Street, Moncton, occurred Friday at Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. He was 85. Born in Cap Pele, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Gould. He was employed as a longshoreman until retirement, and attended the Assumption Cathedral. His wife, the former Eugenie LeBlanc, died in 1959. He is survived by one stepdaughter, Mrs. Fred Brigden (Alice) of Saint John; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Leger of Shediac Road, and Mrs. Charles LeBlanc, of Cap Pele; one brother, Adelard Gould of Summerside, Mass., three grandchildren, several great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Moncton. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Assumption Cathedral with interment in the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saint John.
