William "Bill" Leger 1940 - 2008
William "Bill" Leger, 67, husband of the late Pauline Leger passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born September 20, 1940 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Dosithée Leger and the late Pheobe Bourgeois. Bill was the owner and operator of Horizon Trailer Park and Vacation Village in Shediac and formerly a brick layer with Bill Leger Ltd. He was an avid baseball and Men's Amateur Hockey fan. He will be sadly missed by his four loving children, Guy (Johanne), Lynn Leger (Marc LeBlanc), Liane Leger (Gareth Powell) and Mark Leger all of Shediac; two sisters, Judy Bavis (Kirk) of Moncton, Shirley Clements of Springhill, N.S.; three brothers, Don (Toni) of Fitchburg, Mass., Earl (Marg) of Athol, Mass., and Jack (Marilyn) of Moncton; five precious grandchildren, Jenna, Serge, Anika, Karine, Annie; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. His wife of 43 years Pauline (Belliveau) Leger passed away on May 3, 2008. He was also predeceased by a brother, Lloyd. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday, from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until departure (10:20 a.m.). Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
