Mrs. A. Cormier -
The death of Mrs. Alice Cormier, widow of Telespore Cormier of 160 Emmerson Street, occurred Saturday at Moncton Hospital after a long illness. Born in 1889, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Henriette (Belliveau) Leger and attended Assumption Cathedral. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Rene Leger (Jeannette) and Mrs. Byron French (Marguerite) both of Moncton, Mrs. Gerald Kelly (Doris) of Stoneham, Mass., and Mrs. Bill Bodmore (Lorraine) and Mrs. Godfrey West (Therese) both of Ottawa; six sons, Rev. Charles Omer Cormier, St. Joseph DuMoine, N.S., Philippe, Rudolpe, Gerard and Paul Emile, all of Moncton and Guy-Ulysse of Dieppe; 34 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The body will rest at Frenette's funeral home with funeral mass to be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Assumption Cathedral. interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
