Mrs. Floribert Leger St. Anthony, June 21 -
A host of friends throughout the county will learn with regret of the death at her home of Mrs. Emilienne Leger, wife of Floribert Leger, councillor of St. Anthony. Mrs. Leger had been in failing health for the last four years and was 45 years of age. A year ago this month she was taken to a Montreal hospital in the hope of recoving her health but the best of medical help failed to restore her health. She died Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. She was popular with all who knew her. She leaves to mourn besides her husband, three daughters, Doretia, Aline and Therese and five sons, Valmont, Donald, Herve, Gerard and Roger, also her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Maxime Cormier, of St. Anthony; three brothers, Felix, Clement and Octave, and five sisters, Mrs. Joseph Maillet, Buctouche; Mrs. Ben Cormier St. Paul; Mrs. Yvon Leger, Shediac; Mrs. Fred l'Heureux, St. Anthony, and Margaret, Dorchester. The funeral took place on Friday morning at 8:30 with high mass of requiem celebrated by Rev. D. Allain, parish priest, and was largely attended. The pall-bearers were Messrs. Henry and Felix Leger, Jos. Mailet, Yvon Leger; Ben Cormier and Fred l'Heureux. Many spiritual offerings, messages of sympathy were recieved by relatives and sorrowing friends.
