A. Belliveau -
The death of Anselme Belliveau of Scoudouc occurred at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital Friday after a brief illness. He was 71. Born in Scoudouc, he was the son of the late Camile and Marie (Leger) Belliveau. He was a retired painter who worked with CN for 33 years and was a member of the St. Jacques Majour Roman Catholic Church in Scoudouc. He is survived by his wife, the former Juliette Bourque; five sisters, Mrs. Alfred Leger (Delin), Shediac; Mrs. Beatrice Melanson, Moncton; Mrs. Lea Melanson, Scoudouc; Mrs. Arthur D. Bourque (Bertha), Scoudouc; Mrs. Edgar Bourgeois (Catherine), Scoudouc; one brother, Narcis Belliveau. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home in Shediac. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from St. Jacques Majour Roman Catholic Church, interment will be in Scoudouc Roman Catholic Cemetery.
