Elderly Humphrey's Resident Dies -
One of the oldest and best known residents of Humphrey's, Mrs. Sam Leger, passed awayat her home Friday evening. She was to have celebrated her 92nd birthday yesterday. Although in failing health for the past two years her death came unexpectedly. The former Antoinette Leger of Cape Bald, her death will be widely mourned. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Max Goguen, Truro; Mrs. Dos Vautour, Saint John; Mrs. Joseph LeBlanc, Port Elgin; Mrs. Wesley Cormier, Sunny Brae, and Miss Alvina at home, with whom Mrs. Leger resided, and two sons, Alyre, Sackville, and Max, Sydney Mines. The funeral is to be held this morning at 9 o'clock in the St. Louis de France church.
