Clorice (Jos) Maillet
1913 - 2002
STE-ANNE-DE-KENT,NB-Peacefully, surrounded by his family, Clorice Maillet passed away at his home on Monday July 8, 2002 at the age of 89. Born in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Donat and Evangeline (Caissie) Maillet. Clorice retired in 1981 after having worked at the No 5 for 38 years. Before his death, he loved giving a helping hand, was handy with tools, loved cottage life and was an avid gardener. Besides his beloved wife of 61 years, Imelda (Maillet) Maillet, he leaves to mourn four daughters, Annette (Neil Wortman) of Shemogue, Clarice (Robert Thibault) of Moncton, Diane (Pierre Roy) of Charlesbourg, QC, and Danielle (Michel Boudreau) of Dieppe; one son, Jean-Eudes (Dorine Poirier) of Moncton; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; five sisters Elmire (late Albert Bastarache) of Moncton, Leona (late Gérard Richard) of Richibouctou, Regina (late Aquila Cormier) of Dieppe, Huberte (Gérard Goguen) of California, Dorice (Laurie Léger) of Florida; two brothers, Alcide (Imelda Drisdelle) of Shediac and Ulysse (Roseline Léger) of St-Edouard; four sisters-in-law, Rita Richard (late Frank Richard), Thérèse (late Aldorie Maillet), Thérèese (late Yvon Maillet), Dorilla (late Zoël Maillet); several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Dorine; a sister, Florida; as well as four brothers, Gérard, Zoël, Yvon and Aldorie. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wedneday July 10, 2002 at Christ Roi Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
