L. LeBlanc Shediac (Special) -
Leo LeBlanc, 81, of Villa Providence, Shediac, and formerly of St. Anselme, died Saturday at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital after a brief illness. Born in St. Anselme, he was a son of the late Ernest and Leonie (Landry) LeBlanc. He attended St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church. His wife, the former Salome Leger, died in 1980. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Hubert Bourque (Rose-Marie) and Anne-marie, both of Moncton, Mrs. Robert Drader (Bernice) of Ottawa, and Ginette of Fredericton; a son, Alphonse of Halifax; three sisters, Mrs. Antoine Cormier (Dorice), Mrs. Leonard LeBlanc (Rita) and Mrs. Josephat LeBlanc (Aline), all of Moncton; four brothers, Alfred, Romeo, Narcisse, and Arthur, all of St. Anselme; and seven grandchildren. The body is at Frenette's Funeral Home, Moncton. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at St. Anselme. Burial will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
