CAP PELE - Alban Cormier, 78, of Cap Pelé, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 1995, at The Moncton Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Born on January 13, 1917, he was the son of the late Maximin (Marc) and Phélonise Cormier. He was employed with Robb Engineers Co. for 23 years until his retirement in 1977. He attended Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé. He was member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #91, Cap Pelé and was a member of the Golden Age Club, Cap Pelé.
He is survived by his wife Florida (Despres) Cormier; four daughters, Mrs. Bernice Cormier and her husband Charles-Omer, Mrs. Yvette McEwen, Mrs. Rita Chard and her husband Laurie and Mrs. Louisa Ouellette, all of Cap Pelé; four sons, Leo Paul Cormier and his wife Lorette of Cap Pelé, Roger Cormier and his wife Loretta of Toronto, Ont., Emery Cormier and his wife Anise of Cap Pelé and Aubrey Cormier and his wife Angela of Egmond Bay, PEI.; two sisters, Mrs. Marie LeBlanc and her husband Oswald of Shediac and Mrs. Stella Robichaud and her husband Uldege or Robichaud; three brothers, Alias Cormier and his wife Beatrice of Port Elgin, Renée Cormier and his wife Viola of Cap Pelé and Joseph Cormier and his wife Therese of Port Hawkesbury, N.S.; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister, Germaine; four brothers, Leandre, Laurie, Arthur and Rhéal Cormier.
Resting at Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church Hall, Cap Pelé with visiting hours on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé, on Friday, June 2, 1995 at 11 a.m. Interment in Cap Pelé Roman Catholic Cemetery.
