CAISSIE, ARMAND 1925 - 2015 Grande-Digue, NB –
Armand Caissie, 89, passed away peacefully at the Foyer Saint-Antoine in Saint-Antoine, NB surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, March 5th, 2015. Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Hervé and the late Anna Caissie (nee Arsenault). Armand will be sadly missed by his nine daughters, Annette Fagan (Alphé) of Lakeville, Bernadette Léger (Yvon) of Grande-Digue, Lorette Boudreau (Ronald) of Grande-Digue, Lucie Caissie-Girard of Grande-Digue, Blanche LeBlanc (Ronald) of Saint-Antoine, Justine LeBlanc of Dieppe, Sophie Caissie (Alain Fortin) of Saint-Antoine, Rose-Mai Goguen (Jacques) of Notre-Dame, Huberte LeBlanc (Yvon) of Dieppe; by his six sons, Jean-Claude (Gloria Bourque) of St. Gabriel, Laurie (Raymonde Mallet) of St. Gabriel, Joseph (Yvette) of Grande-Digue, Paul (Sandra Vienneau) of Grande-Digue, Hervé (Cécile) of Brampton, ON, Maurice (Suzanne) of Grande-Digue; by his two sisters, Lina Doucet (late Édouard) of Lynn, Mass., USA, Georgette Cormier (Josephat) of Bouctouche; by his five brothers, Alvin (late Émerise) of Grande-Digue, Edgar of Montreal, QC, Bernard (Rose Marie Vienneau) of Shediac, Paul (Stella) of Cocagne, Valérie (Claudette LeBlanc) of Moncton; by his 22 grandchildren; by his 26 great grandchildren; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Eva-May Caissie (nee Caissie), by his two daughters, Patricia, Jeannine, by his son, Armand Jr.; by his sister, Géralda; by his three brothers, Henri, René, Louis; his two grandchildren, Robert and Gilles. Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, March 9th, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 7:00 to 9:00pm and on Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 from 9:00 to 10:30am. Funeral mass will be held at the La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue on Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 at 11:00am Donations to the Foyer Saint-Antoine would be appreciated by the family.
