    Jeanita Gagnon, 68, wife of Roger S. Gagnon of Dieppe passed away Saturday January 4, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following a long and brave battle with cancer. Born November 20, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Annie (Boudreau) Goguen. She was employed with Université de Moncton, and SEARS before her retirement. Jeanita touched many lives over the years, her rippling laughter was well known. Her volunteer work at the Dr. Georges-L.Dumont Hospital was very special but her greatest joy in her life was her children, and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 47 years Roger; two daughters, Denise Marini (Adriano), and Monik Leger both of Moncton; a son, Charles (Charline Doiron) of Dieppe; six grandchildren: Melissa, Sophie, Luc, Cedric, Bianca, Mila,; three sisters: Doris Arsenault (Albert), and Linda MacMullin (Dave) both of Moncton, Diana Savoie (Ivan) of Nashua, NH; two brothers: Alyre (Noëlla Maillet) of Scoudouc, Ronald (Eva Savoie) of Moncton; a special sister-inlaw Maria (Richard) Goguen, several nieces, and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Raymond, Camille, and Alcide Goguen. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday January 8, 2003 at SaintAnselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, Father Paul Breau officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. At the request of the family, memorial donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated.

    ROGERSVILLE, NB - Yvonne Lavoie, of Rogersville, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital on Monday, January 6, 2002 at the age of 92. Born in Causapscal, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late George and Laura (Lagace) Gaudet. She was a homemaker and attended St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville. She was a member of the Golden Age Club and Charismatique. She is survived by two daughters, Antoinette Richard (Gerald) of Rogersville, Beatrice Maillet (Andre) of Waltham, MASS; three sons, Rheal (Therese) of Montreal, Calixte (Nicole) of Mascouche, Laurie of Rogersville; two sisters, Rita Martin of Rogersville, Beatrice Legere of Toronto; two brothers, Emile (Mariette) of Moncton, Calixte (Doreen) of Rogersville; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Her husband Willie, one sister, Louise and two brothers, Leo-Pold and Henri predeceased her. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Rogersville on Wednesday from 7-9 and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville at 11 am with Father Denis Belliveau officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. The funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant St. and telephone 622-7741.

    1934 - 2006

    Raymond Eli Joseph Doiron, 71, of Cornhill Street, Moncton, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, January 22, 2006. Born September 24, 1934 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Melina (Cormier) Doiron. Raymond was a retired Corporal for RCAF, and employee at Hôtel Beauséjour. He was also a member of the Moncton Legion No. 6 and Air Force Club. He is survived by four children, Susan Herbert of NS, Louise of Moncton, Denise (Danny) of Dieppe, Rhean of Moncton; two sisters, Yvonne LeBlanc (Regis) of Moncton, Jeannine Bourque of Dieppe; a brother, Ronald of Moncton; three grandchildren, Crystal, Jonathan, Melanie; three great grandchildren, Daniel, Justin, Sebastien; his former wife, Claudette (Leger); many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Paul; an infant daughter; and two great grandchildren. No visitation by request. The Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) followed by a reception. www.frenettefuneralhome.com
