Death Mrs. D. Leger ST. ANTHONY (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Desire (Marguerite) Leger of St. Anthony occurred in Stella Maria Hospital, Ste Anne, Wednesday after a short illness. Born in St. Maurice, she was a daughter of the late Hermeligille and Restitue (LeBlanc) Maillet and attended St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are, her husband; six daughters, Mrs. Eric LeBlanc (Leona), Mrs. Normand Cormier (Dora), both of St. Anthony, Mrs. Leandre Cormier (Edna), Mrs. Henri Richard (Geraldine), both of Cocagne; Mrs. Gerald Bourque (Edith) of Moncton, and Mrs. Joseph Boucher (Geneva) of Humphrey; four sons, Yvon and Paul, both of St. Anthony, Emery of Cocagne and Eric of Lewisville; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Jeanna Cormier of St. Anthony and Mrs. Emma Cormier of Cocagne; one brother, Dos Maillet of Moncton and 42 grandchildren. The body is resting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Normand Cormier of St. Anthony with service to be held at the parish church there on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
