Leo Joseph Leger

Leo Joseph Leger, 69, of Albert Street, Moncton, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 1996 at The Moncton Hospital.

Born on February 25, 1926, in Moncton, he was the son of the late Dessie Cormier and Francis Leger.

He is survived by his wife, Jean (Crossman) Leger; one daughter, Linda (Claude) Cormier of Moncton; five sisters, Anita Bourgeois of Dieppe, Adrienne (Raoul) Gaudet of Scarborough, Ont., Alice Leger of Scarborough. Ont., Dorice (Donald) Poirier of Dieppe and Patricia Murray of Dieppe; three brothers, Arthur (Florence) Leger of Moncton. Rev. Omer Leger of Dieppe, Raymond (Doris) Leger of Moncton; one sister-in-law, Eva Leger of Dieppe; four grandchildren, Michelle, Renee, Christopher. Nathalie. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Alfred.

Resting at Frenette Funeral Home. 88 Church Street. Moncton, with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard’s Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, on Tuesday, January 9, 1996, at 2 p.m. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery in Dieppe.
