Fitchburg High School senior; was an auto accident victim

FITCHBURG -- Sarah B. Rheaume, 19, of 93 Cedar St., died Thursday, April 20, in UMass Memorial Medical Center--University Campus, Worcester, of injuries suffered Wednesday night in a single-car accident on Caswell Road.

She was born Dec. 10, 1980, in Leominster, the daughter of Leo C. and Paula B. (Ouellette) Rheaume, and had lived all her life in Fitchburg.

Miss Rheaume was a senior at Fitchburg High School, scheduled to graduate this June and planning on attending Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner, in the fall.

She worked as a cashier at Victory Super Markets' Market Square store at Twin City Plaza in Leominster.

Miss Rheaume was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Westminster Village Inn Club in Westminster. She was an athletic runner, gymnast and pianist.

Besides her parents, she leaves a sister, Jennifer L. Rheaume; a brother, Camille L. Rheaume; and her paternal grandmother, Marguerite (Leger) Rheaume -- all of Fitchburg; her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Jeannette (Lagasse) Ouellette of Lady Lake, Fla.; uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces; and a close friend, Jessica Derosier of Fitchburg.

Her paternal grandfather, Camille L. Rheaume, died before her.

The funeral will be held Wednesday from the Brandon-Simard Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St.

Private burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
