Yvonne Elizabeth Leger

Yvonne Elizabeth Leger, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, January 31, 1999, at the age of 75.

Born in Dieppe on January 22, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Louise (Gauvin) LeClair. She was a member of Notre Dame de la Paix Roman Catholic Church, a, life time member of the Ladies Auxiliary Legion Branch #6, a volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross Association, a member of the Villa Heritage Senior Citizens Club, and a member of the Notre Dame de la Paix Senior Citizens Club.

She is survived by her husband, Adelard "Duke" Leger of Moncton; by two daughters, Elaine Clancy (Trevor) of Havelock and Monique Leger (Levi Caissie) of Bouctouche; two brothers, Frank LeClair (Yollanda) of Moncton and Raymond (Kathy) of Dieppe; one sister, Therese Boucher (Roger) of Edmundston; four grandchildren, Jessica, Matthew, Nathan, and Patrick. She was predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Leonard; one sister, Dorice LeClair.

Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, February 2, 1999 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated from Notre Dame de la Paix on Wednesday February 3, 1999 at 10 AM with Father Boudreau officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Donations made to the New Brunswick Lung Association, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
