Annette M. Rayworth

Annette M. Rayworth, 79, of Leslie St., Moncton, passed away suddenly at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, January 18, 1998.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Leandre and Roseanne (Melanson) Leger. She was a member of St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, and the C.W.L. within the church for over 50 years. She was an active volunteer at the Villa du Repos for almost 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Barry; three daughters, Kristin Gauvin (Roger) of Atholville, NB, Janis Mallais (Arnold) of Moncton, Barrie Anne Wilson (Larry) of Forest, ON; grandchildren, Kim Rayworth-Landry and Jason Rayworth, Andre and Jean Gauvin, Michelle, Brigitte, Denis and Jeremy Mallais, Jeffrey, Josee and Jennie Wilson, a special sister-in-law, Vi Leger of Moncton; a family friend, Sylvia Stevens of Ajax, ON; as well as nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by one son, Frederick in 1993; one sister, Helene Leger and two brothers, Hector and Dr. Paul Leger.

Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton (858-1995) with visiting hours on Tuesday, January 20, 1997 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, Dominion St. on Wednesday, January 21, 1998 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
