Wilma Leger, 90, wife of the late Zenon Leger of Shediac Bridge, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital. Born January 4, 1922 in Saint-Antoine, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Cormier) Leger. She is survived by three children: Bernice Fougere (Armand) of Leominster, MA, Ronald (Vivian) of Mission, B.C., and Laurie (Robin) of Aurora, ON; four grandchildren: Armand "Jr.", Tina, Luke, and Joey; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Neilda Arsenault and a brother, Levi Leger both of Saint-Antoine; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by a brother Léo Leger; two sisters: Lina Belliveau and Florine Leger. The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Wednesday, March 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. pm and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at La Visitation R.C. Church, Grande-Digue, on Thursday, March 29 at 1p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Wilma, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
