The death of Pierre Celestin Arsenault of 331 Columbia Crescent in Chartersville, occurred Wednesday at Moncton Hospital following a brief illness. He was 80. Born at Buctouche, he was a son of the late Cyrille and Rose Anne (Maillet) Arsenault. He was a retired employee of Canadian National. He is survivied by his wife, the former Genevieve LeBlanc; six daughters, Mrs. Alfred Roy (Lina) of Lewisville, Mrs. Gerald Boudreau (Yvonne), Mrs. Oscar LeBlanc (Aurora), Miss Jeannette Arsenault, all of Moncton, Mrs. Valaire Leger (Colombe) of Toronto and Mrs. George LeBlanc (Jacqueline) of Chartersville; three sons, Isidor of Chartersville, Ernest of Lewisville and Ronald Arsenault of Lakeburn; one sister, Miss Aurore Arsenault of Moncton; one brother, Isidor Arsenault of Leominster, Mass.; 25 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. The body will rest at Frenette's funeral home, Moncton after 7 p.m. today. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery.
