George LeBlanc Port Elgin (Special) -
The death of George LeBlanc of Port Elgin occurred Saturday at the Highland View Regional Hospital in Amherst following a long illness. He was 78. Born at St. Andre, Westmorland County, he was a son of Jean and Lucie (Richard) LeBlanc. He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Leger; five daughters, Mrs. Ronald Larson (Isabel), Mrs. Rita Trenholm, Mrs. Marjorie Cormier and Mrs. Albert Spencer (Doris), all of Port Elgin and Mrs. Ronald Allen (Matilda) of Amherst, N.S.; one son, Edward LeBlanc of Port Elgin; seven brothers, William, Alfred, O'Neill, all of Port Elgin, Joseph and Leonard, both of Moncton, James and Gerald LeBlanc, both of Berwick, N.S.; 14 grandchildren, and by five great grandchildren. The body is resting at Jones funeral home, Port Elgin. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a m. Tuesday at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church, Port Elgin, with entombment in Sackville cemetery vault to await burial in the Port Elgin church cemetery later in the spring.
