Mrs. L. Gallant GRANDE-DIGUE (Special) -
Mrs. Leozee Gallant, 57, of Grande-Digue, wife of Neri Gallant, died Tuesday at The Moncton Hospital after a short illness. Born in Grande-Digue, she was a daughter of Phillip and Lumina (Gallant) Casey of Cocagne. She operated a upholstering business for 17 years before retiring. She attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue and was a member of the Grande-Digue and Cocagne Golden Age Clubs. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by seven daughters, Flora of Moncton, Mrs. Therese Beaulieu of Toronto, Yvonne of Moncton, Mrs. Michel Fournier (Eveline) of Edmundston, Mrs. Bill Hebb (Claudette) of Dartmouth, and Mrs. Lucien Bernier (Marie) of Irishtown; two sons, Gerald of Shediac Bridge and Ronald at home; four sisters, Mrs. Paul Belliveau (Gloria) of Shediac, Mrs. Omer Gaudet (Andrea) of Moncton, Mrs. Roger Leger (Maria) of Humphrey and Mrs. Alderice Arsenault (Eva) of Newbery Port, Mass., two brothers, Albert of Moncton and Joseph of Cocagne. Two brothers, Arthur and Gerald, died previously. The body is at Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday a 10 a.m. at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
