Madeleine Vautour

CAP PELE — Madeleine Vautour, 75, of Donat LeBlanc "Cité d'Age d'Or" and formerly of Cap Pele, passed away at her daughter's residence in Dupuis Corner, on Sunday, February 26, 1995 after a lengthy Illness.

Born on November 29, 1919, in Haute Abouiagane, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Emilienne (Bourgeois) LeBlanc. A housewife, she attended Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church in Cap Pele. She was a past member with the Dames de Ste. Anne.

She is survived by her husband, Rene Vautour; two daughters, Mrs. Yolande Poitras and her husband Guy of Dupuis Corner, Mrs. Rachel Leger and her husband Daniel of Greenwood, N.S.; two sons, Gerard Vautour and his wife Valerie of Halifax, N.S., Omer Vautour and his wife Doris of Fredericton; Foster mother to Oscar Breau and his wife Gisele of Cap Pele, Roger Breau and his wife Aline of Quebec, Francis Breau of Moncton; three sisters, Mrs. Anita Cormier of St. Andre, Mrs. Delia Niles of Dieppe, Mrs. Stella Cormier of Shediac: two brothers, Damien and Emery LeBlanc both of St. Andre; six grandchildren; five foster grandchildren; three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Eloi LeBlanc; one sister, Doris Cormier.

Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., Main Street, Shediac, (532-3297) with visiting hours in Shediac on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church in Cap Pele on Wednesday, March 1, 1995 at 11 a.m. Interment in Cap Pele Roman Catholic Cemetery.
