Mrs. E. Boudreau -
The death of Mrs. Emma Boudreau, 425 Lutz Street, Moncton, occurred at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital following a brief illness. She was 100 years old. Born in College Bridge, N.B., she is the daughter of the late Celeste (Caissie) and Pacifique LeBlanc, both of College Bridge, and the widow of Aime Boudreau. Her husband died in 1943. She was a retired housewife, retiring in 1947. And she was a member of Assumption Cathedral. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Zeno Leger (Edmee), Memramcook, Mrs. Antoine Langis (Perina), Moncton, Mrs. Augustin Dallaire (Lina) with whom the deceased resided, Mrs. John Charles (Alice), Toronto, and Mrs. Auguste Allain (Marie), Buctouche; two sons, Joseph Boudreau, Memramcook, and Eugene (Foggy) Boudreau, Lewisville; 22 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Mrs. Boudreau is the last surviving member of her family. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, 88 Church Street. The funeral service will be held at Assumption Cathedral, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery.
