Mrs. Georgina Elizabeth BROWN, widow of Leroy Edgar Brown of River Hebert, passed away Thursday, Oct. 9, 1986 at Highland View Regional Hospital in Amherst following a lengthy illness. She was 79 years of age. Born in Lower Cove, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Melinda (Fagan) Legere. She was a member of the Saint Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Joggins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Leroy in 1976; one daughter, Dorothy; one son, Douglas; one sister, Roseanne; and three brothers, Dos, Clarence and Fred Legere. She is survived by 10 daughters: Bessie Lavoie of Minto, N.B.; Annie (Mrs. Jess Lawless and Joyce (Mrs. Bernie White) both of River Hebert; Myrtle (Mrs. Fred Terrio) and Lynn (Mrs. Sonny Terrio) both of Joggins; Muriel (Mrs. James Hamilton) of Peterborough, Ont.; Rubie Brown of Mississauga, Ont.; Ella (Mrs. Eric Clark) of Etobicoke, Ont.; and Brenda Brown of Calgary, Alta. Eight sons, Floyd of Montreal, Que.; George and Ronald, both of Minto, N.B.; Earl of Yarmouth; Dos of Sprague, Man.; Fred of River Hebert; Donald of Grande Cache, Alta; and Jackie of Creemore, Ont. Also surviving are 59 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren. Her remains rested at her home in River Hebert Saturday. Funeral mass was Monday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. with burial in the River Hebert Cemetery.
