Romeo LeBlanc -
The death of Romeo LeBlanc of Barachois occurred Friday at Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Moncton, following a long illness. He was 65. Born at Fitchburg, Mass., he was a son of the late Gaspard and Delphine (Leger) LeBlanc. He was a retired employee of Paturel Seafood Limited. He is survived by his wife, the former Mathilde LeBlanc; four daughters, Mrs. Ronald Babineau (Bertha), Mrs. Gerald Babineau (Yolande) and Miss Noella LeBlanc, all of Barachois, and Mrs. John Lirette (Marie-Mai) of Shediac; two sons, Gaspard, of Cap Pele and Arsene of Barachois; two sisters, Mrs. Leandre Doiron (Bertha) of Barachois, and Mrs. Amedee LeBlanc (Regina), of Cap Pele; four brothers, Ulysse LeBlanc of Saint John, Louis of Little Cape, Albert of Fitchburg, Mass., and Gerard of Moncton, and by four grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac, from 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Henry du Barachois Roman Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery.
