Legere, Elizabeth Madeline - 79, 28 Station St., Amherst, died Wednesday in Highland View Regional Hospital. Born in Motherwell, Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Sarah Gibbons. She was a member of the Crossroads Pentecostal Church. She is survivied by two daughters, Isabelle Bourque, Amherst, Georgina Dunphy, Halifax; a sister, Katie Van Snick, Pugwash; a brother, Eric,

Ontario; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; a son Frederick, four sisters, Julia, Agnes, Myra, Louise, three brothers, Peter, Alex, Dave. The body is in Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst with visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday, and where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Russell Knowles officiating. Spring burial in River Hebert Cemetery.
