Mrs. E. LeBlanc Buctouche (Special) -
The death of Mrs. Elise LeBlanc, wife of Methode LeBlanc of Buctouche occurred Saturday at the Stella Maris Hospital in St. Anne following a brief illness. She was 83. Born in St. Mary, she was the daughter of Maximin Leger and Philomene (Cormier) Leger. Besides her husband, she is survived; by six daughters, Mrs. Antoine Cormier (Irene), Mrs. Amedee Cormier (Emilda) and Mrs. Harvey Bastarache (Cecile) all of St. Mary, Mrs. Simon Bastarache (Anna) and Mrs. Francois Bastarache (Jeanne) both of St. Maurice and Mrs. Ivan Cormier (Aline) of Buctouche; four sons, Edgar, Eric and Ulysse all of St. Mary and Normnad of St. Paul; one sister, Mrs. Johnny Collette (Mary) of St. Maurice; one brother, Albert of Scoudouc; 54 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Richard's Funeral Home in Buctouche. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Buctouche this evening at seven o'clock. Interment will be in the St. Mary Roman Catholic Cemetery.
