Alcide Bourque

GRAND-BARACHOIS, NB - Alcide Bourque, 61, of Grand-Barachois passed away accidentally on Saturday, July 3, 2004. Born November 18, 1942 in Barachois, he was the son of Lucilda Leger and the late Maurice Bourque. He was a semi-retired employee with Francis Brun Plumbing and was a member of the Barachois Golden Age Club. Besides his mother, Lucilda Bourque of Shediac; he is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Vautour) Bourque; two daughters, Carole Leger (Claude) and Sylvie Cormier (Maurice) both of Cap-Pelé; a son, Marcel (Lisa) of Grand-Barachois; five grandchildren, Sébastien, Myriam, Maxime, Nicolas, Samuel; six sisters, Claudette Gagnon (Edgar), Marie-Mai LeBlanc (late Francis), Diane Thibodeau (Normand) of Grand-Barachois, Fernande Melanson (late Jack) of Moncton, Jacinthe Brun (Ronald) of Cormier Village, Roberte Landry (Paul) of Cap-Pelé; seven brothers, Ronald (Mary) of Toronto, Roger (Noëlla), Victor (Germaine), Joseph (Louise), André (Rosella), Irois (Hélèna) all of GrandBarachois, Arthur (Loretta) of Shediac; many nieces, and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
