Alyre Boudreau

SHEDIAC, NB - Mr. Alyre Boudreau, 84, of Résidence Famille Doucet, Grande-Digue and formerly of Donald Street, Shediac, passed away after a lengthy illness at the residence on Friday, March 2, 2001.
Born in Shediac, February 3, 1917, he was the son of the late Benoît Boudreau and the late Marie LeBlanc. Alyre was a carpenter past co-operator and co-proprietor of Ocean Surf Trailer Park, Shediac and a retired employee with C.N.R. He was a past member of le Club Acadien and attended Saint-Joseph Roman Church, Shediac.
ALyre will be sadly missed by his wife, Marie-Anne "Anna" (Allain) Boudreau of Shediac; six daughters, Annette Belliveau (Jean-Claude), Yvette LeBlanc (Claude), Benoîte Gautreau (Bernard) and Monette Boudreau, all of Shediac, Diane Boudreau (John) of Calgary, AB, Noella Léger (Mauril) of Grand-Barachois; three sons, Léonce Boudreau (Jeanne) and Yvon Boudreau, all of Shediac, Jean-Claude Boudreau (Joceline Landry) of Saint-Anselme; six sisters, Florine Belliveau and Marguerite LeBlanc, both of Shediac, Bertha Cormier (Auguste) of Haute-Aboujagane, Fémina Bourque of Sackville, Denise Cormier (Henri) Fitchburg, Mass and Maria Boudreau of Saint-Anselme; a brother, Robert BOudreau (Irène) of Moncton; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Valerie Boudreau.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m and Monday from 1 p.m. till hour of departure at 1:50 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2001 at Saint-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
Donation in his memory can be made to the oncology centre of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation (862-4225).
