R. Cormier -
The death of Raymond Cormier of 128 Norwood Avenue, Moncton occurred at Dr. George L. Dumont Hospital Thursday after a brief illness. He was 68. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Philippe and Delia (LeBlanc) Cormier. He was an employee of L'Assumption Mutuel Life, retiring in 1972 after 30 years service. He attended Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, and was a member of the church Golden Age Club. His wife, the former Eveline Leger died in 1972. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jim Belliveau (Raymonde), and Mrs. Rheal Boudreau (Janice), both of Moncton; one sister. Mrs. Daniel Bougeois (Edna) of Moncton; two brothers, Eddy and Leo, both of Moncton; and one grandchild. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Moncton. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from Christ Church with interment in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery.
